About us

Amanda Cunningham has been working in dressage for over 12 years. She trained in Germany for a year when she was 18 and returned to the US to attend Truman State University and William Woods University where she obtained two bachelor degrees in Agricultural Science and Equine science and is currently working on her M.E. in Equestrian Education.  Amanda specializes in training young horses and working with beginner and intermediate riders (including young riders) to enhance their skills.  In addition to a passion for dressage, she is also skilled in Driving and Saddle Seat. Amanda worked last at Steiner Dressage in New Jersey.  Her philosophy is to help each horse and rider create a partnership in a safe and friendly environment in order to help them reach their full potential. Amanda has developed a loyal following of beginning and intermediate students who love working with her.

President and Owner Steve Nelson has over thirty years' experience in the horse business. He has owned and operated his own feed business (Nelson Feeds), trained standard breds, and maintained a busy schedule of horse transportation.  His vast experience covers all aspects of stable operations, horse care, feeding programs, layups from injuries, and training young horses. Steve also has extensive construction experience and is upgrading all aspects of the property. He is on site daily, managing the operations and would be happy to design a custom feeding, training, or rehab program for your horse. In 2017, Steve was honored to receive the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Western New York Dressage Association.
