All of our boarders are in a lesson or training program designed to meet their goals and their budget. We offer a variety of options.

Carol Heckman
Carol has earned  her Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.  Her show results include numerous high score awards, as well as a National Dover Medal, Third Place Vintage Cup for PSG, Region 8 Reserve Champion at Third Level, Fourth Level, and Third Level Freestyle, and USDF Certificate of Achievement at FEI Levels.   She frequently shows at top shows in Region 8 and in Florida in the winter. For the past three years, Carol has qualified for US Dressage Finals in Third Level, Fourth Level, PSG and I1 Freestyle. In addition, she has received top honors from the Western New York Dressage Association for a number of years.

Carol travels to Florida each winter to train with the best in the sport, to attend clinics, to watch the top competitors ride and to hone her skills. She continues to seek out opportunities to improve her own riding and her teaching skills. She is happy to share this knowledge with her students upon her return. Interested students can also accompany her to Florida or she is happy to help them arrange a visit. Call 716.725.3639 for more details.

Amanda Cunningham
Our staff member Amanda is available to teach beginning and intermediate lessons. She customizes her introductory packages to the student’s needs and interests. All levels, including children, are welcome. Read more about Amanda here.

Lesson and Training Pricing
The charge for lessons with Carol is $70 per 45 minutes and with Amanda is $60. After an initial lesson, students are encouraged to sign up for a package of 5 lessons. If we supply the horse, the charge is slightly greater. Amanda and Carol both make the lessons positive and fun, with a special emphasis on skill development and understanding of the fundamentals of dressage training.

In addition to lessons, Carol and Amanda work with customers’ horses to tune them up, advance their skills, work on particular issues or exercise them when their owners are not available. Prices vary depending on the customers’ needs but the best value are monthly packages of either half or full training.
